Indiescrete: College Flashback 80s – May 1983

Indiescrete: College Flashback 80s appears every few weeks on the Indiescrete podcast feed and serves up some of the indie new wave and punk that was being played on college radio in the early 1980s. The music is sometimes a little lower quality because it all comes from authentic cassette tapes recorded from my radio shows from 1980 – 1983.

Welcome to Indiescrete

Indiescrete is a new podcast focusing on the best indie pop, emo, singer-songwriter and power pop music from around the world. The program will alternate between indie pop from today and tomorrow, and a special “College Flashback 80s” show that brings back some of the unsung forgotton new wave gems played on college radio in the early 1980s.

Indiescrete is launching in February. Some of the bands on the first show will include Edie Carey, Auto Escape, the Good Mornings and Edmund’s Crown. If you’d like to have your music played on Indiescrete, send your MP3s to brianblum@gmail.com.
